The Los Angeles Clippers is drawing a lot of eyes as its star player, Rookie of the Year Blake Griffin continues his beautiful performance by winning the NBA 2011 Slam Dunk Contest and by making it to the All-Star team. The first draft pick in 2009, Griffin’s career was put in danger by an injury that put him on the bench for most of the year. All doubts were put aside when he returned in 2010 and took NBA by storm, living up to the high expectations of avid Clippers fans. His presence and promising career has already sent Clippers tickets sales soaring.
Another new addition to the LA Clippers is new head coach Vinny del Negro. Del Negro has only recently joined the Clippers but is already generating a lot of electricity in the media as he steps in to revitalize the team’s gameplay and performance. An experienced NBA coach, Del Negro has already succeeded in bringing the Chicago Bulls to two consecutive playoffs appearance for 2009 and 2010. Clippers fans are already excited to see what he’ll bring to the LA Clippers. His presence and high expectations from fans have made Clippers tickets sell like crazy. I already bought a Clippers ticket to see the action for myself.
The new additions to the team have certainly raised fans’ expectations and many are hoping to see the Clippers dominate the Staples Center for a change. The presence of All-Star Griffin and veteran head coach Vinny del Negro promises a lot of good things on paper that will hopefully be visible on the hard court. The revamped team only has one sure thing in its list of achievements this new season – it has succeeded in selling a lot of Clippers tickets.
I have the advantage of having access to low priced Clippers tickets, so I’ve got a Clippers ticket to the upcoming game already. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that the Clippers truly deliver this year and take over the Staples Center. I know that I definitely want to be there to watch their games live and see the action for myself. I also want to see if rebuilding the team around star player Blake Griffin will pay off.
It can’t be denied that Blake Griffin is getting a lot of media buzz and NBA fans’ heads are being turned, making Clippers tickets sell more than it ever has. And so far, the first draft pick has delivered beautifully. I’m sure that Del Negro will cash in on Griffin’s talent and style on the basketball court to take the Clippers as far and even farther than where he took the Chicago Bulls. I’m also hoping that veterans and new additions alike will bring their A-game and show the world what the LA Clippers have got to offer.
